here is the last thing i drew that wasn’t comics. it has a meaning behind it, so who ever tells me what it is first will get a free sketchbook in Oct. btw, this was just a color test . dont judge.

Uh…see the girl is surrounded by frogs, none of who are actual princes so they’re not worth kissing, but they’re still all up on her making it harder for both the prince frog to get her attention and for her to spot him amongst the duds. Or something.
It is Der Froschkönig oder der eiserne Heinrich, AKA The Frog King or Iron Heinrich, AKA The Frog Prince.
And it is gorgeous.
The meaning is don’t ride on a turtle to get to a hottie that everyone else wants, heh.
Also, if you’re worthy, you’ll be noticed on your own (golden frog, waiting to be noticed); desperately throwing yourself at someone (all of the other frogs) isn’t going to work out.
I jyst think it’s pretty no clue on the meaning, sorry.

It’s gonna be rather one-sided. RR can’t/won’t show up (so he lives in CA…laaaaame excuse
), and Choi has been ducking me before the ante was upped to a dodgeball game o’ doom.
We may end up winning by forfeit.
The way I see it, the little gold frog isn’t really making an effort. He hitched a ride on a turtle (rather than using his own legs) and probably spent all that time painting himself up to try and get noticed. Then you’ve got the little blue collar (green) frogs actually putting in some man hours for the princess. Just standing around looking pretty ain’t gonna cut it gold frog!! Of course that is kind of what the princess is doing, but she’s not the one looking for a date. She’s just enjoying nature. The little gold frog needs to step up his game. Because so far the green frogs are the ones acutaly making headway.

the pic was for , and Is of, a beautiful young friend of mine. on her version the gold frog is green. I was thinkn gold bc she likes yellow but I decided green so he(frog) wasn’t standing out so much visually except for the crown.
Standing apart from the crowd can either get you noticed or ignored.
Don’t rely on others to get you what you want/noticed.
In order to get noticed, you need to do something to distinguish yourself from the crowd/take initiative on your own.
Turtles carry salmonella, and the Frog Prince is looking to Trojan horse some payback to your beautiful friend.
bebop scares me a little. And I’ll remember not to accept any gifted turtles from him.

Someday your price will come. And it’s worth the wait to get a real prince instead of all the frogs that are throwing themselves at you. I think the little frog might be kind of bummed that she is spending time with all the frogs that are all over her all the time, instead of noticing how cool he is. Maybe the little frog is just shy.
The girl also seems more intrested in the flowers than the frogs that are all over her.
So, there are all these guys throwing themselves at your friend, and she’s kind of just going about things. But if she took the time to look around, she’d notice the prince that has been waiting patiently for her.
